REFORM Alliance aims to transform probation and parole by changing laws, systems, and culture to create real pathways to work and wellbeing.A justice system that promotes accountability and supports people in rebuilding through work and wellbeing helps strengthen families and create safer communities. Instead of trapping people in a revolving door between supervision and prison — a cycle that costs taxpayers billions — we’re working to move them from the justice system into stability.
In 2023, Mumineen CDC proudly entered a contractual partnership with REFORM Alliance, the national nonprofit co-founded by Meek Mill, Jay-Z, Michael Rubin, Robert Kraft, Clara Wu Tsai, and Daniel S. Loeb. REFORM Alliance is a national leader in transforming probation and parole systems and advocating for second chances.
Grant & Mission:
Through this partnership, Mumineen CDC was awarded $35,000 to design and implement impactful programming for individuals returning to the community on probation or parole.
This initiative focuses on:
Case Management:
Personalized support to navigate re-entry challenges and access housing, mental health services, and legal aid.
Job Readiness:
Workforce development training, resume building, and job placement assistance tailored to people with justice system involvement.
Hustle & Build is rooted in the belief that people deserve the tools, mentorship, and opportunity to rebuild their lives—with dignity, ownership, and purpose.
Together with REFORM Alliance, we are empowering futures, reducing recidivism, and driving real systems change at the local level.
