Mumineen CDC & Indianapolis Office of Public Health and Safety
Justice Re-Entry Initiative | Awarded September 2024
In partnership with the Indianapolis Office of Public Health and Safety (OPHS), Mumineen CDC was awarded a Justice Re-Entry Initiative Grant in September 2024, further expanding our efforts to support individuals transitioning back into society.
This program is designed specifically for individuals under electronic monitoring and those involved with Community Corrections. We understand the unique barriers these individuals face—and we are here to help remove them.
Clothing Assistance:
Supplying everyday essentials and professional clothing to help individuals re-enter society with dignity and confidence.
Housing Support:
Connecting participants with temporary and permanent housing options tailored to their needs and legal circumstances.
Transportation Services:
Providing essential transport to job interviews, court dates, parole check-ins, and medical appointments.
This initiative is a targeted, compassionate approach to breaking cycles of recidivism and providing real opportunities for people coming home. It’s about restoring stability, dignity, and freedom—one person at a time.
