We are the second oldest Sunni (Orthodox) Islamic house of worship in Central Indiana, established in 2001. We follow the Qur'an and the prophetic tradition of Muhammad ﷺ, the final messenger of God. Our core focus is to enhance the spiritual well-being of our community.
At Masjid Al Mumineen, our mission is rooted in compassion, service, and faith in action. We strive to meet the needs of those we serve through spiritual growth, social support, and community-centered services. Guided by the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), we are committed to nurturing both the spiritual and material well-being of our community while advancing meaningful spiritual, community, and economic development.
As the second oldest Sunni Orthodox Islamic house of worship in Indianapolis, Masjid Al Mumineen proudly serves as a sacred space for worship, learning, and community empowerment—where faith is not only practiced, but lived.
We are located at 4088 Millersville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46205 approximately 10 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. Our facility is open for all five daily prayers.
At Masjid Al Mumineen, we are honored to serve our community through a wide range of spiritual and social services. We provide Islamic marriage (Nikah) and Islamic divorce (Talaq & Khula) services, as well as Janazah (funeral) services to support families during life’s most sacred and sensitive moments. Through our Zakat & Sadaqah program and the LUTS Food Pantry, we offer direct assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardship and food insecurity. Beyond the masjid, our nonprofit arm, Mumineen Community Development Corporation (MCDC), delivers critical social services including reentry support for formerly incarcerated individuals, mental health support, case management, entrepreneurship training, and workforce skills development. Together, these services reflect our commitment to holistic care—nurturing both the spiritual and practical needs of our community.
